Brodsworth Hall in Time of War tells the story of the Grant Daltons and the local community during the two World Wars. Brodsworth Hall was requisitioned during WW2, and the family lived alongside the soldiers, who even invited the family to lunch in their own dining room!
The exhibition is spread throughout the Hall, and incorporates panels, a large full-wall canvas, a graphic timeline and audio stands. Visitors are encouraged to leave their own stories at feedback stations. This information will be archived by English Heritage and will feed into future interpretation.
We also designed a branded A3 concertina-folded trail leaflet to accompany the exhibition.
Thanks to Leach for the large format print and 3D design, Wood & Richardson for the lithographic print and to Lynne Roebuck and Rob Cheung.
